Author Sheri Bell-Rehwoldt's site about the Tooth Fairy -- and a bit about her other children's books. Her picture book, "You Think It's Easy Being the Tooth Fairy?," has sold 17,500+ copies and been published in English, Hebrew and French! Oui! Oui!

Fun Read: The Creepiest Children's Books Ever!

A friend sent over this link of the The Creepiest Children's Books Ever, and I laughed my butt off. Sadly, there are none about teeth or the tooth fairy....but a number about poop. HA!

Using the Tooth Fairy in Classroom Learning
If you're a parent, teacher, or librarian, click on the following nifty educational links which offer up suggestions for creating educational opportunities around this day!
For younger students:
*A teacher's recommendation for using my book, You Think It's Easy Being the Tooth Fairy?, to talk about gender stereotypes.
*An example of how one second grade teacher incorporated the Tooth Fairy into a classroom Writing Assignment.
*A librarian's suggestions on adding the Tooth Fairy to Storytime.
For older students:
*An English Lesson Plan focusing on National Tooth Fairy Day. It's pretty darn cool.
(The Tooth Fairy, as she zipped away to yet another celebrity interview, was overhead to say, "Excellent suggestions! Tooth On!")
